Mycelial Matters: From Spore to Fruiting Body

A community conversation about mushrooms led by herbalist, Tanya Donatelli, owner of Oak Fairy Apothecary and Head of Functional Mushroom Products at North Spore. This class will provide a foundation for folks seeking to better their quality of life and overall longevity with fungi. We will discuss some of the most researched medicinal mushrooms available and some that are gaining new attention. Other topics will include: extraction methods and ratios, mycelium vs. fruiting body, growing vs. foraging, mushroom safety, choosing the right supplement, cooking with mushrooms, and other tips and tricks to help mushrooms become a functional part of your daily lifestyle (if they aren't already!).
